FAQ

Undergraduate Admissions — Common Questions

Requirements vary by country and university, but most competitive universities in North America and the UK look for strong performance in your WASSCE, BECE, or national equivalent. A minimum of six credits at O-Level (including English and Maths) is typically the baseline. We will assess your profile honestly during your free consultation and recommend schools that are a realistic fit.

For US universities, many schools are now test-optional, meaning the SAT/ACT is not always required. However, a strong SAT/ACT score can significantly strengthen your application, especially for scholarship consideration. For Canadian, UK, and other destinations, entry is typically based on secondary school grades. We will advise you specifically based on your target countries.

We recommend starting at least 12–18 months before your intended enrollment date. For scholarship applications, deadlines can be as early as 12 months before the academic year starts. Starting early gives us time to strengthen your profile, improve test scores if needed, and write truly compelling application materials.

Yes. Many families fund undergraduate studies through personal savings, bank loans, and family contributions. Some countries like Germany offer free or very low-cost public university education even for international students. We will help you explore all options — including tuition-free destinations — so you can make an informed decision based on your family's financial situation.

Standard requirements include: transcripts and certificates, a personal statement or essay, two to three letters of recommendation, proof of English proficiency (TOEFL/IELTS), a copy of your passport, and sometimes a portfolio (for arts/design programmes). We provide a complete, country-specific checklist once we know your target destinations.
